The legality of the data processing operations that have already taken place remains unaffected by the revocation.

Mailchimp

This website uses MailChimp’s services to send newsletters. The provider is Rocket Science Group LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.

MailChimp is a service that can be used to organize and analyze newsletters, among other things. MailChimp is certified according to the EU-US Privacy Shield. The Privacy Shield is an agreement between the European Union (EU) and the US to ensure compliance with European data protection standards in the US. With the help of MailChimp, we can analyze our newsletter campaigns. When you open an email sent with MailChimp, a file (web-beacon) contained in the email connects to MailChimp’s servers in the United States. This allows you to determine whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links have been clicked if necessary. In addition, technical information is collected (e.g. time of retrieval, IP address, browser type and operating system). This information cannot be assigned to the respective newsletter recipient. They are used exclusively for statistical analysis of newsletter campaigns. The results of these analyses can be used to better adapt future newsletters to the interests of recipients. The data processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 sec. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations that have already taken place remains unaffected by the revocation. The data you have stored with us for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored by us until you are sent out of the newsletter and deleted from both our servers and mailchimp servers after you have unsubscribed from the newsletter. Data that has been stored for other purposes (e.g. e-mail addresses for the member area) remain unaffected by this. For more information, please refer to MailChimp’s privacy policy at: https://mailchimp.com/legal/terms/.

7. Plugins and tools

YouTube with enhanced privacy

This website integrates videos from YouTube. The site is operated by Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

We use YouTube in advanced privacy mode. According to YouTube, this mode does not allow YouTube to store information about visitors to this website before they watch the video. However, the extended data protection mode does not necessarily exclude the transfer of data to YouTube partners. This way, youTube connects to the Google DoubleClick network, regardless of whether you’re watching a video.

As soon as you start a YouTube video on this website, a connection is made to the servers of YouTube. The YouTube server will be informed which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you allow YouTube to associate your browsing behavior directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

Furthermore, after starting a video, YouTube can store various cookies on your device or use similar recognition technologies (e.g. device fingerprinting). In this way, YouTube can receive information about visitors to this website. This information is used, among other things, to collect video statistics, improve usability and prevent fraud.

If necessary, after starting a YouTube video, further data processing operations may be triggered, over which we have no influence.

The use of YouTube is in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6(c). 1 lit. f GDPR. If a corresponding consent has been requested, the processing shall be carried out exclusively on the basis of Article 6(0). 1 lit. a GDPR; consent can be revoked at any time.

For more information about youTube’s privacy policy, see their privacy policy at: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.

Typeform

For selected surveys and forms we use Typeform, a form tool from TYPEFORM S.L., Carrer Doctor Trueta, 113-119, Planta 1, 08005 Barcelona, Spain.

Typeform is subject to the european union’s data protection regulations. Filling out a form transfers the user’s IP address, information about the time and duration of the survey, and the information provided by the user in forms to Typeform.

For more information, please refer to Typeform’s Privacy Policy, available at:
www.typeform.com/terms-service/.

If you don’t want your data to be processed in type form, you should not participate in surveys or fill out appropriately flagged forms. Data from surveys can be statistically evaluated by us and processed and used for marketing purposes.

The data processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 sec. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time by sending us an e-mail to info@outsmart.ai. The legality of the data processing operations that have already taken place remains unaffected by the revocation.

Conclusion of a data processing agreement

We have concluded a so-called “data processing agreement” with Typeform by obliging Typeform to protect our customers’ data and not to pass it on to third parties. This agreement can be viewed at the following link: www.typeform.com/terms-service/.
